For those fleeting first few weeks
It’s totally natural; that feeling that you just can’t stop staring at your newborn baby. This tiny, perfect human that you’ve grown inside you is now in your arms, and the overwhelming surge of love is almost impossible to describe.
But with photographs, you don’t have to try and put the experience into words. My newborn photography sessions capture your little one during their precious first few weeks, immortalising that indescribable magic of new life in a set of photos you and your child will treasure forever.
Using natural colours and minimal posing, I photograph your baby just as they are. Your photos will be relaxed, light and cosy, the perfect embodiment of that special ‘newborn bubble’ feeling.
A peaceful haven for new parents
As a new mum, you might be feeling a little unsure of how you’ll cope with being out of the house in a new situation. Fear not; my welcoming photography studio provides a peaceful sanctuary for new parents. I know how stressful the first couple of weeks after having your baby can be, so my sessions give you the chance to relax, sit back with a tea or coffee, and just enjoy the moment as your baby is in safe hands!
To make things even easier for you, I have a wide range of outfits and accessories for mum and baby in the studio, which all co-ordinate with the neutral and natural style, meaning no stressful outfit shopping is needed. One less thing to worry about!
The session will last up to 1.5 hours and can include family and sibling shots. This is a baby-led session, so we follow how your baby is feeling to ensure a calm and happy environment for all.

When should I book a newborn photoshoot?
You can book your newborn photoshoot anytime from your 20 week scan, and we will pencil a date for around 10 days after your due date. This can then be amended if the baby arrives early or late. To avoid disappointment, I recommend booking early, as I have limited slots available each month.
How do I book a newborn photography session?
To book your newborn session with me, simply fill out the contact form at the link below and I’ll get back to you by email within 48 hours to arrange a date for your photoshoot.
What should I dress my baby in for their newborn shoot?
Light, neutral shades tend to work best for these photoshoots as they have that dreamy, cosy quality that is so unique to the newborn stage. I know how difficult it can be in those first few weeks trying to find outfits that fit and that have been washed, so I have a wide range of newborn baby outfits that have been specially selected to make your baby look peaceful and snuggly. Once you're booked in, you'll receive a link to an outfit gallery so you can have a nose around and pick out some favourites!
What do I wear to a newborn photoshoot?
A newborn photoshoot is the perfect opportunity to get professional mother and baby photos, but if you’re not sure what to wear then please do not worry! Once you’re booked in, I will send a styling guide to help you choose your outfit for the shoot. I also have a client wardrobe of women’s clothing that you’re welcome to borrow. There is a range of dresses, tops and knitwear in neutral shades and flattering styles, available in sizes 8-20.
How long does the session last and where is it held?
My newborn photography sessions last around 90 minutes and will be held in my cosy home studio in Worcester Park (KT4). There is free parking on the driveway and a side gate providing easy access for prams and buggies. If you’re travelling by public transport, Worcester Park Station and bus stops (served by the 213, 151, SL7 and S3 routes) are a two minute walk away.
How many photos will we get from the session and can we print them ourselves?
For newborn photography sessions, you will usually get between 50-70 images to pick from in your online viewing gallery. I try to give you as many as possible from the session so that you can pick your favourites. You get full printing rights with any images that you purchase, but I can also arrange for your prints to be done professionally by my trusted list of suppliers (view the full list of printed products here).
How long will it take to receive the images?
I edit all of your images myself to ensure your final images are pixel perfect. It usually takes between 7-10 days for your final edits to be ready and uploaded to your private gallery, but in busier seasons it can take up to 14 days.
